Get to Know Me
Exceeding Expectations One Client at a Time
Ever since I was young, I knew I wanted to get into a career path that would make a difference in people’s lives. This interest led me to study psychology, volunteering for a crisis counseling hotline, and eventually a career in behavioral health for children, adolescents, and families. As a licensed clinical social worker in the West Palm Beach area, I am committed to the well-being of all my clients.
I grew up in West Palm Beach, Florida. I received my Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology and Master of Science Degree in Clinical Social Work with a specialization in Child Development at Florida State University in 2007 and 2011, respectively. I became licensed in 2015 and currently hold an additional license in Colorado. I am a qualified supervisor for those seeking their Florida licensure.
I have more than 11 years of clinical experience working with children, adolescents, young adults, and families. During graduate school, I completed an internship completing biopsychosocial assessments at a community mental health center in Georgia and a residency at the West Palm Beach VA Medical Center doing care coordination via telehealth and group therapy focused on social skills for veterans with chronic behavioral health issues. Following grad school, I started my career as a contract worker for different agencies in Palm Beach and Broward Counties. I also briefly worked with children and families involved in the foster care system. In 2015, shortly after I received my clinical social work license, I moved to Colorado and worked until recently at an outpatient child and adolescent behavioral health clinic in a hospital setting in Colorado.
Upon my return to Florida, I began the process of starting a private practice to offer individual therapy with teens and young adults face to face via in-person and telehealth.
